Stuart Bryan is the co-founder and President of I-M Technology. With over 20 years’ experience, he is passionate about helping small and medium organizations, whether nonprofit or for profit, grow by removing constraints and bottlenecks that stop or slow down production while also allowing people to focus on the work that is meaningful to them.
On his path to better himself, a series of work experiences provided the background for how he thinks and approaches business today. From observing meaningless jobs that could be replaced with technology to seeing how inefficiencies can destroy even the largest companies, Stuart took these life experiences and designed intelligent processes that would help him, and his clients improve their quality of life while help their businesses thrive and grow.
Eventually working for a large computer company, he discovered that a well-run IT department can provide a competitive advantage for a business and really help it grow. But after this large company went out of business due to overdependence on a single client combined with inefficiencies and lack of processes, he was determined to prevent other companies from suffering the same fate. It was out of the ashes of this former employer that Stuart co-founded I-M Technology, LLC with his father, Phil Bryan in 2003.
With a broad base of knowledge in the areas of networking and computer software and hardware, Stuart set out to help businesses set up intelligent, proactive processes that would help them grow. He also supports his clients with technology that comes alongside what they do giving them the ability to focus on the products and services they deliver. This allows them to scale their company while spending more time focusing on their strengths and doing what they enjoy most.
Today I-M Technology has grown to provide services to many organizations dealing with compliance requirements based on NIST standards such as HIPAA, 800.171 DFARS and CMMC. Preferring to be strategic and offer right sized solutions that protect profits and productivity, Stuart and his team help businesses comply with changing regulations in a way that is cost effective and smartly applied.
The mission at I-M Technology is to empower clients to efficient and effective operational growth by systematically and consistently removing friction points in their organizations, whether caused regulatory, financial or operational constraints. I-M Technology seeks to have the technology used, enable client teams to do more valuable and rewarding work while reducing the frustrations and inefficiencies that act as a brake pedal on their forward progress.
This allows them to be impactful in their local economy providing high quality employment opportunities and giving back in meaningful ways to serve their community and the world.
A continuation of doing meaningful work and improving lives, Stuart serves on the board of three nonprofits and as a mentor of IT leaders around the English-speaking world. He’s been featured in national IT publications and been a guest speaker on podcasts and at national industry events.
